The information on this page is specific to Laptops and Desktops.
You will need a personal EBSCO account in order to download (borrow) books. This is a separate account from the one you use to login to library databases.
From the EBSCO basic or advanced search page, click on "MyEBSCO".
You only need to do this step if you are reading an eBook on a laptop or desktop computer. If you are using a mobile device, skip this step.
After completing steps 1 and 2, you are ready to download (borrow) an eBook.
Once you have identified the eBook you'd like to download, click on its title to open the resource's information page.
The Permissions section of this page will tell you how much of the eBook you can download and how (see the Copyright - Digital page for details).
You can either read the book as a PDF or an EPUB (recommended for mobile devices). You can find any available access options from the dropdown menu.

Below you will find instructions for downloading part or all of an eBook in your chosen format. Note that the same download pop-up window described in the instructions also appears by clicking the "download" button on the eBook's information page (shown above).
Whether you have downloaded a PDF or EPUB format, your download will appear as a downloaded file in your computer.
