The Moose Hide Campaign

The Moose Hide Campaign on May 11th, 2023 began over 10 years ago as a movement to engage men in ending gender-based violence. Today, this grassroots movement brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who are standing up against violence towards women and children.

Wearing a moose hide pin signifies your commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence. The JIBC Library has pins available.

More information about the Moose Hide campaign can be found on the Moose Hide Campaign website.

Below are resources to help educate ourselves and our communities about the issues of gender-based violence, particularly against Indigenous women.
