If you can link, link!

If a resource is available either on the Internet or in a Library database, provide the link. Whenever possible, links should be used to direct users to the resource in lieu of uploading a copy.

Students benefit from being able to see the original source. They can find citation information, can see the source in its original context, and are able to save a resource for future use.

Linking to Licensed Content

Follow these instructions to create permanent links (permalinks) to full-text database articles:

REMEMBER: For resources in Library databases, copying and pasting the URL in the browser window will result in a broken link.
