Add availability in LibCal allows your students to see the dates and times that they can book with you.
Add Availability Times
Go to Appointments.
Click the Availability tab.
In the Add/Delete Availability panel, select Add.
Select a Start Time for your availability.
Select an End Time for your availability.
You can set your availability times for up to 12 months in advance.
Use the Repeat Pattern to choose how often to apply these availability times (i.e. just a single date, or on multiple dates).
Single Date: use this option to apply these availability times to a specific date.
Daily: use this option to apply these availability times on a daily basis.
Weekly: use this option to apply these availability times on specific days each week. (*Recommended)
Monthly: use this option to apply these availability times on specific days of each month.
Multi-Date Picker: use this option to apply these availability times on specific calendar dates. This is ideal if your availability does not occur in a regular pattern.
From the Location dropdown, select the location where you'll be available during those dates and times.
The list will be divided between locations you're a member of and all other locations.
If you have more than one meeting locations (e.g. in-person & online), make sure to add your availability times to both locations
From the Group dropdown, select the group from that location where you'll be available during those dates and times.
Select All Groups to add your availability times to every group in the location, even the ones that you do not belong to in the location.
In the Directions Override field, you can provide optional directions for how to find you during those dates and times (i.e. in the Reference office, Room 101, etc.).
This will override the default directions for the availability being added. If this is left blank, the default directions from your "My Settings" tab will be shown on-screen and in the email confirmation sent to patrons.
This will not override directions for existing availability. If you want to provide new directions, you must delete the existing availability and then re-add your times with your updated directions.
