RefWorks: RefWorks Home

RefWorks is a web-based citation management tool that is available for free to JIBC students, faculty, and staff.

With RefWorks you can:

• Download, gather, and store references from library databases and Google Scholar
• Format citations and references lists in seconds
• Connect to your RefWorks account anywhere there's internet access
• Share your citations with other RefWorks users

​RefWorks is hosted on a U.S. server

• The first time you create or access your account, you will be asked to consent to the ProQuest privacy policy
• If you do not agree, you will not be able to access RefWorks

RefWorks by ProQuest is stored on servers outside of Canada. While ProQuest adheres to privacy policy, JIBC cannot guarantee security of your private details on servers outside of Canada. As such, you may wish to use a pseudonym and non-identifiable email address when using RefWorks.
