RefWorks: Create an Account

All JIBC students, faculty, and staff are eligible for a FREE RefWorks account. The first time you access RefWorks, you will need to create your account.

Follow the steps below to create your free RefWorks account. 

1. Open the RefWorks link.
2. Enter your JIBC Network Credentials to authenticate your account.
3. Now you can create your RefWorks account.
4. Enter your email address to start creating your account. This does not have to be an institutional email. 
5. On the next screen, enter the required fields and click Next.
6. Once you have finished creating your account, you will receive a confirmation email from RefWorks.
7. You now have an active RefWorks account.

With an active account, each time you click on the RefWorks link from the Library website you will login using your JIBC Network Credentials. RefWorks will then automatically log you into your RefWorks account.
