Microsoft Office Subscriptions

Some program areas offer a free Microsoft Office subscription to students. Contact your program to see if this applies to you:

The Microsoft Office subscription provided to students is web-based only, granting access to Microsoft Office programs through a web browser, via https://www.office.com/

This subscription does not include desktop versions of the Office applications.

If you have another Microsoft Office license or have purchased or subscribed to Office with your computer, there may be compatibility issues when switching between licenses or accounts.

Student Technology Support Service

Tech Services provides a dedicated support channel to help with academic technology issues only.  Please note that personal technology concerns, such as problems with personal devices or non-academic accounts, are not covered by this service.

Examples of supported issues include:

  • Difficulty accessing learning platforms (e.g., Blackboard)
  • Problems logging into your student account
