Module 3: Types of Sources

There are many different types of information sources available, such as books, scholarly journal articles, news websites, and more. All sources have strengths and weaknesses, so type of source you use will depend on your information need.

Example - if you’re looking for the most up to date research on a subject you would use a scholarly journal article, while if you're looking for a general overview of a topic you might turn to a news website or a book.
