Annual Juristats are produced for: crime statistics, homicide, impaired driving, justice system resources and expenditures, youth court statistics, youth custody and probation and corrections statistics. Additional Juristats are also produced each year on current topics of interest to the justice community.
Statistics Canada collects, compiles, analyses, abstracts and publishes statistical information relating to the commercial, industrial, financial, social, economic and general activities and conditions of the people of Canada.
An easy way to locate statistics is to use the CANSIM database. Updated daily, CANSIM is Statistics Canada's key socioeconomic database. Additionally, the Census provides statistics complied from Canada's 2011 census. There are also the Summary Tables for an overview of statistical information, by province or territory, or by metropolitan area.
